~ Mission Statement ~

The mission of the Milwaukee County VOAD Council is to foster efficient, streamlined service delivery to people affected by disaster through cooperation, communication, coordination and collaboration.

Among our goals are:

To identify organizations that have the resources and skills to alleviate suffering and provide assistance in the event of a disaster or emergency.

To foster those agencies into a cohesive response effort.

To maintain the autonomy of all collaborating agencies or groups while avoiding duplication of services.

To establish an activation process, a communication structure and resource database.
To provide guidance to member organizations in disaster preparedness and response.
